Using gasoline can result with many greenhouse gases getting spewed into the air such as carbon dioxide, or CO2. Most of the cars used today use gasoline, and they spew carbon dioxide into the air. One alternative we have is using electric cars.
Electric cars are cars that run on electricity – it's in the name! However, these types of cars are extremely expensive, and not many people have enough money, or are in dire need of saving money. In the long term, however, it should be noted that as gas rates rise, the cost to charge an electric car is much cheaper. You could also avoid using cars and ride trains, buses, and other means of public transportation. You should also walk or ride a bike when you can.
For those that live in cities, you don't need to have a large garden to produce oxygen. You can plant small, easy-to-grow, and non-invasive species. All plants can produce oxygen, whether small or big, pretty or dull. If you don't have a green thumb, then you can grow easy-to-grow plants. Try bulbs if you have trouble planting things and getting them to grow, - they are easier than seeds.
Any plant is okay, as long as it's non-invasive, a native species, and put in the ground rather than a pot if possible. Follow the directions on the package or look up how to properly plant grow your plant online.

The 4 Rs are Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Refuse. You have probably heard of the first three. But, there is a fourth, Refuse. This means you should refuse to accept plastic straws, utensils, plastic bags, and more. If we all did that, we could reduce the amount of plastic that ends up in the environment and how much is made. This would bring us closer to saving our earth as creating plastic uses fossil fuels and is terrible for the earth. We should all follow these four important steps to saving our beloved planet.
