The greenhouse effect is how our planet traps heat and keeps warm. The atmosphere dilutes sunlight as it enters through it and onto our planet. Carbon dioxide, when in our atmosphere, traps this heat and keeps our planet warm. This is not global warming, so do not get these two confused. It can contribute to global warming, but they are not one and the same. We actually need it to survive. Without the greenhouse effect, life as we know it would not exist.
To an extent, it is good. Without it, we wouldn't have warmth and we wouldn't be alive. But when we burn too many fossil fuels and release to much dioxide, it contributes to climate change. All the carbon dioxide traps the heat from the sun and increases the temperature of our planet.
Also, weirdly enough, climate change means worse mental health, and just because you are in a developed country, doesn't mean you are safe. Between 2010 and 2099, climate change will cause an additional 22,000 murders. There. We told you we weren't kidding when we said we've got to act now.
No cheating. Quiz is not to be taken after lunch. (hehehe...)
22,000 murders. If you got this wrong, we know you didn't read it.
Good, would you like to freeze to death?

Earth Overshoot Day marks the date when humanity’s demand for ecological resources and services in a given year exceeds what Earth can regenerate in that year. 2020's came on August 22.
Belches.
Yes. It even has a larger effect than CO2 or Methane!
Realizing that Everything is a Dreadful Disaster. Just kidding, obviously. It means Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation. If you got that right, you really earned yourself a pat on the back.
1.3 billion.
Blue. Duh. (This is also a completely random question).
